"In order to really enjoy
a dog, one doesn't merely try to train him to be semi-human.
The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a
dog."
~ Edward Hoagland

Classes
for whole families and their pets start monthly.
Kids welcome!
Three
DITR people volunteered at the Emergency Animal Shelter as Humane
Evacuation Animal Rescue Team (HEART) members. Judy Campbell, Chris, and
Nancy Zietlow spent over 12 hours each at the shelter that was set up in response
to the Valley View Fire. They helped to mobilize the shelter at the Spokane
County Fairgrounds. They took in and cared for several people's pets: several
dogs, cats, horses and goats! They also assisted with demobilization.

Will we have class when the weather is bad?
Unless the State Patrol advises that everyone stay off the roads, classes
will be held as usual.
If you are unable to make it to class, you may attend another day that week,
or
you may opt to schedule a private make-up for
a missed class.
